Copyright doesn't matter how you create something. It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with publishing. This "AI" isn't even AI, Midjourney is a tool that requires human input. Do I think its stupid to try to copyright raw "AI" art? Yes, but if someone is publishing it for whatever reason and they want to stop people from copying it then its in their right. Artwork created by the tool belongs to the creator/publisher, regardless of how it was made. Paintbrush, toothbrush, or generative AI tools, publishing rights belong to the creator.
