Great discussion! I never thought before how dangerous it would be to AI profits if a disaster happened like what happened to the nuclear industry and to Boeing. I wonder if OpenAI is hedging against this by buying politicians and spreading tendrils to make it harder to stop when the disaster does strike. Love the line on Sam Altman traveling on regulated planes and regulated roads, entering regulated buildings, and eating regulated food. Regulations keep us safe from the bad parts of capitalism!
