I am 71, a retired geologic research scientist and believe that my generation lived in the sweet spot of humanity. We grew up without computer technology yet as adults grew with it but didn’t forget how to live without it. AI at first will likely yield a society of apathetic humans but the subsequent outcome may be a real and potentially violent human versus technology revolution. We will see.
