i'm not sure if i exactly see eye-to-eye 100% with you on everything in this video, but regardless i think your perspective is perfectly understandable and valid, and in particular i think everything you said about the issues with AI art is so true. ive been saying this ever since AI art started to hit the mainstream - people who criticize it just for being "ugly" are missing the point. i'll admit that i think AI technology is cool, and i do use chatgpt in my personal life, mostly to assist me with technical problems. i choose to create my own art and music and writing without the assistance of AI because i enjoy the process of doing so and i love the feeling of accomplishment i get when i create something independently. but i also recognize that AI art can be a tool for people to express themselves who don't have the artistic skill or desire to learn an artistic skill, and i think that can be valid too. if you write your own story and use AI to make accompanying visuals, i'm not going to tell you that it isn't art or that your creative endeavor "doesn't count" because it used a controversial technology. that being said, there's a big difference between using AI as a tool to supplement your artistic work, and as an all-in-one solution to do everything for you, which i think is lame. i appreciate this video a lot and your presentation was entertaining and engaging. subscribed, i'll be excited to see what you put out next!
