In my view, robotics and AI will profit everyone because it will reduce the price of goods and services so much that everyone will be able to afford pretty much whatever you want. Also, yes we need UBI, and you forgot to mention that Elon Musk is in favor of Universal Basic Income, in fact he is actually one of the first person that promoted it years ago, he even said it would probably be Universal High Income. Most billionaires are not evil, they actually don't care about money as much as people think and say, what they want is being able to change the world in a meaningful way, and for that they need money which is in reality just shares in their own companies to vote and decide. They don't have that money on their bank account Elon musk unlike many people think is the best exemple of that, he doesn't even profit personally from the money he makes, he doesn't have a yatch, or fancy materialist things, he sold most of his properties, and he even lived in a 50k $ house for a few years. It has also been reported that he used to sleep inside his company. I prefer being optimistic about the future, Capitalism has its flaws but overal I think the past demonstrated that it profit everyone overall. Today, most people live better than the richest kings of 1000 years ago. Obviously there are still people that live in extreme poverty, but I'm confident that AI, robotics and progress will improve that.
