It's just such lazy reporting to use the term "AI". What makes one technology AI and another not AI? Is Google search AI? Is weather prediction software AI? There is no technologically meaningful definition of the term, because it doesn't exist. It's the job of journalists like these people to figure that out rather than parrot marketing nonsense from hucksters.
