I will never get over how I called this as a situation that would inevitably happen the moment ChatGPT was announced. These lawyers didnt do their due diligence but honestly I don't even know if it can be said they are 100% at fault. The pervasive nature of awe surrounding AI and it's potential is massively misleading not only to the general public but corporate professionals as well and this is the proof. People have been fired in favor of AI development and solutions that are totally unrealistic to the current level of AI which isn't even proper AI from an objective viewpoint. It's a situation culminating from the accepted inaccuracies in modern language and expression. I'm so stuck between being pissed off that it's the situation we are finding ourselves in and smug amusement that society is imploding in exactly the ways it deserves for not dealing with it sooner. 😮💨
