People who use gen AI are too lazy to learn a skill that other people spend years learning. They want everything to be theirs with a click of a button. They don't want to work hard. They don't want to experience the joy that comes from improving overtime. They don't care about expressing anything. No one is stopping them from picking up a pencil and paper and learning to draw except from... themselves. It's easier than ever to learn how to do art with tutorials all over the internet and art supplies being far more easily accessible than any other time in human history. At one time, art was only for the wealthy. Gen AI "democratising" art is bullshit. Art was already democratised the moment a plebian could afford to buy a pencil and paper. Now we have those things in abundance along with paints and pastels and pens etc. and you can buy them in supermarkets. The only thing gen AI does is steal from people who worked hard, make lazy people feel accomplished, and deny other people access to water. Fuck gen AI and all those who use it.
