I'm trying to learn to code to automate things at my job. My manager is the type you're talking about at 2:00. He's like can't AI just do it? I said yes it probably can't but I have no idea what it's doing, or how to go about refactoring it/extend capabilities. It's scary how many people are leaning into allowing AI to do something and taking it as gospel. From what I see it's either the laziest among us who don't care or those who are trying to climb the ladder at all cost regardless of the wake of damage left behind them
