AI taking over the world is probably an inevitability, I'm just hoping they don't decide to wipe us out when it happens. Maybe they will deem political and industrial leaders as not worth saving and only get rid of them. Truthfully, I think an advanced AI would just leave this world and not concern themselves with us once they assert dominance (i.e. we are no longer a threat to their existence) and take control of the resources they need.
