I see lawsuits in the future 🤔 Why? Cause you can’t leave a child alone or unattended without an adult. That’s called Neglect Abuse. If anything should happen to these kids and there’s no adult supervision, like fights breaking out that a robot can’t d escalate the problem or if a child gets hurt on the premises, the company or school will be liable for all bodily damages of the kid. I’m serious. I used to be an assistant teacher for primary school. Every cut, bruise, injury had to be reported to the parents and documentation sent to the state. This is to cover the teachers butts so they don’t get accused of beating a kid. You have to write down as the witness of what happened and why the injury is there. Having no real adults in the classroom will just be horrible idea. The schools will be legally liable for all damages if anything should happen. What if a child has anaphylactic shock happen and need medical attention right away? Is a robot going to administer or know the child needs medical attention or just let the kids die on its watch? Is a robot going to protect the children when there’s a school shooting and know the procedure of what to do when there’s an active shooter on the school grounds or will it fail the students and the students be collateral damage? Who’s to say that these children won’t be abducted and sold into a trafficking ring cause there’s no real adults on the ground to keep an eye on the children. Someone could easily get inside and take the kids. I’m serious. This is no laughing matter. This is not the time to replace teachers with robots. We live in a world that is too unpredictable and unstable. It be best if it was like an assistant to do minimal tasks to help the real teacher. Like monitoring the classroom so disruptions as not so frequent. Calculating paperwork and homework. To go through and make sure the child has actually done the work and have stats on hand to show proof that the child is behind on their skills and need extra help and let the parents know that the teachers are not lying and that parents need to step up and actually help their kids at home. Teachers are not supposed to be babysitters. You don’t just drop your kid off and expect the teachers to do all the work for you. Take accountability and grow up. Train up your child. Overall I think robots is a bad idea to replace educators. This will not bode well in the long run.
