I thought this was ridiculous when I first heard it but, this is a really intelligent guy, with really legitimate concerns about how a handful of people in closed rooms are deciding how these systems approach some very sticky subject matter. I am concerned now too, I think there should be some real, out in the open, for everyone to understand, legislation about this and it cannot continue to go on behind closed doors with God Knows who making decisions that may cause strife amongst minority groups. It's too important and it needs a government level set of guidelines that are open to everyone before this AI business goes any further. I totally agree that anything that can influence the way people think, shouldn't be in the hands of private businesses. It needs to be out in the open so everyone knows what they're dealing with and there should be legal guidelines to make sure its above board and out in the open.
