Its going to collapse society and culture. Fascist will have unchecked power, the worst bad actors in society will have unchecked power. Deep fake videos being created and spread across the globe in minutes. people being mislead by chatgpt or grok and even having an over reliance on it.
The AI harms the environment and society on a scale we have never seem before. There is no ethical use of it so Im not surprised Neil didnt mention any of this and even when it's brought up he sweeps it away.
