This was very out of touch with real solutions. Being a janitor is not part of being a human and neither is work. AI and efficiency does benefit the consumer obviously - we live in capitalism and if no one wanted it, it wouldn't be so profitable. Eliminating human labor and devaluing it to 32 hours just accelerates the process of replacing people with ai. I was expecting you to mention universal income or something which is prob the best long term option if AI replaces everything.
How about retraining the working class to work in an ai economy and provide even more benefit and job security.
This guy is honestly a noob and very surprised his "take" went this direction. so focused on short term whining and has no long term vision for what is inevitable work even better for society.
