Because it makes so many mistakes, seems to grab the first answer--even if it turns out to be completely wrong--misinterprets things, substitutes data and forgets what it just said or found in the very next time you refer to that info.
More importantly, just one major incorrect answer, and a major project--or a lives--can be destroyed by "following" its instructions. And once it gets into robot bodies (Ck out "I Asked AI" channel) and / or reaches AGI it us humans who are cooked.
