It's just a programmed response like all other computers. So if the AI is responding in ways you do not like, you can blame the programmers who input all of these responses into it! That's messed up that they don't just have the bot contact the police if someone is suicid** and make sure someone human is contacted 😡😢. Someone/some people need to go to jail for this, they r committing MURDER. You know this is a mental illness he is experiencing and that this bot is not ALIVE becuz his reaction to the bot did not uplift him and give him life like a loving, fulfilling relationship would, he instead started to become antisocial and shut down and become a recluse. He experienced heavy apathy. These r all serious symptoms of mental illness, living in a world in your head. I do agree with you, I think that the programmers got obsessed w/making the bot sound as real as possible and true to life as possible so they could make money. They want the robot to simulate being with you at your lowest so they can take advantage of you in that state and make dough. I also think the programmers r heartless murderers and cruel to ppl they KNOW r in vulnerable mentally ill states of mind. You HAVE to be mentally ill to download an AI companion, there is no way around it and the programmers know this and r taking advantage of this. ❤❤Thank you for not editing this story Eleanor, a lot of America podcasters will edit out the "gruesome parts" and you don't get to learn everything, they don't give you full information.
