This is an incredible and MASSIVELY important conversation. Thank you Hank Green and Nate Soares. I especially appreciate how you both manage to cover a very serious and potentially frightening topic in a way that promotes further discourse, research, and even a smidge of optimism. It's easy to turn conversations around AI into rage bait or terror farming or at the very least, somewhat boring circle-jerking but you avoided all of that.
My favorite point, is the analogy to Alchemy! That really helped me re-conceptualize this more accurately, but yet was just one of the aspects of the conversation that actually makes me feel actually more educated on the topic...at least a tiny bit better within my extremely limited brain lol
