Idk, ultimately this guy too gets paid to say it’s gonna end the world (much like the ai companies themselves). Like just from an incentives perspective, they inclined to think their work is super important or grand
Still sounds like a bunch of hype tbh. The only way it destroys the world is in the case where we would have destroyed it anyway. Ie, someone dumb enough to start a nuclear war is equally dumb enough to put a LLM with nuclear access without a human in the loop
