People in power have certain characteristics, narcissism, arrogance, sociopathic, greed. etc. be ready for terminator or a dystopian nightmare. in the meantime, AI will solve any problem, but only for companies that can afford it and profit from it and what about the 300 million people who will lose their jobs to AI by 2030? benefits of AI, sure, it's a tool, so is a screw driver, and in the wrong hands, it can be used to do harm.
