I feel a lot of discomfort surrounding the AI copyright debates. I am pretty firmly in the camp that how AI generated imagery is being touted/used is unethical but I also worry how copyright law is already an unequal mess and is invariably wielded by and for the powerful. It just seems like the single worst avenue by which to address the larger issues at play.
