The power needed to run these data centers is just stupid (the costs to) but the burden to the power infrastructure is massive. For something that possibly turns into a doomsday scenario is just stupid.
The only reason I see any worth in this is medical.. but it'll most likely be used for war.
War games are played with machine learning right? Whatever happened around COVID times seems like a act of war. These genetic type labs surely use AI to make whatever they do to make things faster.
