you're right.
but
I hate the fact that you don't take into consideration that socialist countries where the state owns the means of production don't tend to innovate and improve conditions. i come from a communist country, romania to be exact, most people here hate socialism, because the ruling power then were the capitalists now. the problem is that by giving the means of production to the government, you've basically transformed the political class into the complete rulers that can seize complete power at any moment by cutting the cash supply or using the military, that hands out money made from factories to the people and enjoys the government salaries while stagnating in progress for hundreds of years because there is no competition for wealth and we're all very comfortable. is it really the future we want to look up ? to me it looks like you prefer the military communist dictatorship over the hypothetical exaggerated neo-feudalism. my parents worked in the local state refinery. everyone, including them, made everything possible to deliver the worst quality petroleum to meet the quotas with the minimum effort possible. everyone was stealing diesel and gas (including my parents) and bribing the guardian to sell it to other people, because the fuel rations allowed only 20 liters per week per family iirc. this is the flaw of socialism, and i'm sure you've heard of them before, but you probably don't believe them because you haven't lived it. just watch the video "economy of soviet union" by economics explained, you'll understand everything i said here.
i see you're born in 99, pretty young, just like me. i'm 17, i'm part of the working class aswell, there's no bias to my pov. i work part time as a mechanic to save money so i can open a business with my sister when i turn 18.
another thing that you're ignoring is that the income acquired by the goverment for ubi *WILL* be in the future mostly generated by automation tax. this way the factory owners won't control the world. we're not going back into 19th century capitalist america. and another thing is, with automation of industry, people will have a lot of free time and be unemployed. a lot of free unemployed people means that workforce will be cheaper, which means that jobs that require too expensive robots could be filled by people, like for example cleaning, caretaking, mechanics and many more. with more money and free time available people will seek universities or other methods of increasing revenue, like technical qualification courses or trading or many other things. not to mention engineers or doctors that can innovate products, make patents and get loans or investments to make new innovative industries that directly compete with the old ones, like the electric-combustion car war that is happening right now. you have to see the bigger picture.
they say the biggest fans of communism are the people which haven't experienced commnuism.
waiting for your arguments. peace.
