There is no Future. Besides smaller microchips, the Internet and AI, nothing much has changed for over 50/60 years. We use cars and planes, and watch TV or other media. All that has really changed is surveillance. We cannot hide. The drones are watching.
Mobile phones were just for emergencies. Computers were for programs. Now, they are always screaming for connection to the Internet - you have to go on a cloud!
Young are born into this 'connected' world as ubiquitous as reality. Mostly people over 60 have an idea - if they ever thought about things - that this kind of technology is not meant to 'liberate' humanity - but to imprison us.
We haven't though ever really had democracy, it's basically been oligarchy.
