Investing to learn a physical trade won't work long term. AI powered, humanoid bots will start doing this work in the next 3-4 years. At 5-6 years they'll become ubiquitous and continuously replace human workers given their significantly lower cost. As for me, I'm pursuing my masters in social work. It will be one of the few jobs that AI humanoid bots won't be able to easily displace given the inter-human interaction required (not to mention I'll enjoy the work).🙂
