Idk what old matey expected to get from chatGPT. All it is is a matrix of data run through a function to find a line of best fit using a global minima of error.
It isn't conscious, it is simply taking your questions and finding an answer that best fits an answer based on knowledge it already has, it cannot learn something new from your conversation, it can only learn a new topic with more training.
Don't get me wrong, AI today is amazing, but it isn't AI. It is a deep learning model, not AI. Deep learning programmers call deep learning AI because most people can or relate to the term AI
