AI is abysmal. But if you look at paintings of the past like from, I don’t knowwwwww, Leighton or Rembrandt’s multi figure scenes, I feel to a lesser extent, the same feel of unfortunate loss to modern naturalistic wanna be art that is made using photo reference and any reference that isn’t straight from life and or studies made from you by life and imagination. That is the rawest most incredible way to transpose the human onto an image. Notice how l old paintings don’t look like anything that comes up today, except by a small group of atelier trained artist who are trying, but still fall short because they are part of this already tech and industry poisoned world
