As someone who really tries with art, and the only really proud image I have is the one I put onto my debit card, I was really into the idea of AI art when it first came around, I used it a few times and thought it was nifty. Then I came to learn it steals art and I couldn't stand for that so I completely dropped all AI art prospects, then I found it was terrible for the environment, then I found out it trains its images off the bodies of children (NSFW especially). This needs to be heavily regulated or even outright illegal.
AI for text based things or enhancing tools is where it should be going to, not stealing and putting minors in danger.
