Plumbers are expensive now, but when there's thousands of call centre people going for the same thing locally, then the market saturates very quickly.
There's only so many houses to service in the world. It will very much be 'ready player one' style of utopia. I don't think the AI will need to do much for us to self implode, in fact, I think AI will help us ease into a sense of utopia and use us humans for the manual labour jobs as required since creating physical robots maybe more costly than using humans. If we are too costly to maintain, there will be cullings (or self culling) to keep ourselves manageable.
