That isn’t how it works. Yes, OpenAI will have access to whatever chats you have. And yes, it can be used to improve/train the models. But your individual chats don’t go into some knowledge bank that other users can access. For instance, if you used the full name of one of your friends and told some long story to ChatGPT, and then that friend went to their own account and asked, has anyone been telling stories about me — their ChatGPT account wouldn’t know anything about the story you told in your account. Just an FYI, this video isn’t entirely accurate.
