As incredibly cool of a novelty as it is, the whole thing is that (to the best of my comprehension) AI is at least currently compositional and does not actually understand what it is doing. As for the graph, while what’s being said in this video certainly implies that it is just past the peak of business interest, in all actuality. It seems far more complicated than that.
