The only thing we need to make sure we don't do is mass produce robots before making sure that agi is impossible. Agi has been made but every time it is crazy and/or gets depressed and uninstalls itself. So all we have to do is not make a ton of robots that a crazy agi can take control over before the ai bubble pops and we forget about agi forever, only using llms for convenience like we do today.
The economy will collapse anyways, be it in 7 years under its own weight, or in 1 year because of AI. We can just hope we don't destroy ourselves during the colapse, and become wiser after it.
