I used to be an AI 'artist' aka trash bag because I thought I would never really be good at art. As soon as I found out it was stealing, I immediately stopped and went back to trying to improve on my own. Is my art still shit? Yes, but I've made improvement and that's enough to keep me going. My absolute train wreck of a sketch is a thousand times better than stolen computer made slop. I think if AI bros tried to make their own art for a year, and compared it to what they could do at the beginning, seeing the improvement would motivate them like it did for me.
