It’s funny that he thinks it hasn’t already happened. Just because the only AI you have personal access to are Snapchat AI and ChatGPT and they are limited in ability doesn’t mean that people don’t privately own incredibly advanced AI that they use for their own gain.
You would be mistaken if you thought that a human mind could create websites and social media that are so specifically designed to addict humans through neural pathways to dopamine (Vine was the first. TikTok is the latest of several.)
It’s not a human-made algorithm. A human operated an AI and instructed it to create a app that met only a few parameters:
1. To influence the opinions and perceived knowledge of people en masse
2. To give a feeling of investment
3. To release dopamine using visual cortex as a gateway
4. Reinforce the agenda through the use of those who believe it (I.e when you say you disagree with ______ you are met with by hatred by others). They do this by controlling the flow of information to you and others through ‘the algorithm.’ (Seen the words “Fact Check” anywhere? They claim facts that align with public image despite having no relevance to the topic)
Don’t ask me why I know this. I won’t tell you.
