I love how people is going just nuts because they don't understand the concept they are speaking about.
Art is not about techniques nor ability... art is just and only the idea and the creative process. Said so... AI put itself in that very creative process steeling from other artists.
Copyright is a stupid tool invented by english monarchy to hold control over printing. It has nothing to do with art nor with the respect of artists and their efforts.
The "artist" of this video is not an artist in this case but a designer, and design is not art, it need to be functional and profitable, that's also why he try to copyright it. They are basically living "AI"

The dad drawing is not as bad as you might think from an artistic point of view. Is instead an interesting interpretation of reality. Kokoshka's or Shiele's portraits are not much dissimilar from that. Not far even from "potatoes eater" from early Van Gogh.
