He is right that he doesn't understand much about all this at all. A robot tax is a tax that will be passed onto consumers and only slows progress. Also, not every industry will benefit the same. The government doesn't decide the work week for the private sector, but I don't think that giving government employees a 25% raise per hour worked is a good idea. In fact, I don't think any of his ideas are good. The government should ensure the safety of workers and the environment is protected, otherwise mostly stay out of the way and let businesses run themselves.
