@laurentiuvladutmanea It's evolution baby. It's not much different than what happened in the industrial revolution. My argument is not, that it's not a machine, which is actually wrong, AI are programs if we have to be correct. When do you think there has to be drawn (lol) a line for what is problematic? We have been using programs to help us draw for at least 30-35 years. What about Photoshop, Blender, Aftereffcts and so on? This is the next step. The program has been and is training doe to its commands. Its trying to learn, and its just faster than humans and it's tireless. Therefore it can achieve abilities in a year, that takes a human a lifetime of training. As an artist - I'm payed to illustrate books - I see that in a couple of years it will be problematic for me to earn money the way I do now. But I can either bitch about it, or I can do something about it. AI is here to stay. Its not breaking any laws. It's evolving. It is evolving and fast. Now you can prompt videos, deep face/face swaps, voices, animated characters, 3d-rendered animations from live feeds and many other things. Soon streaming services will adopt these AIs to survive, so they can make a team of content producers. Youtubers will start making high quality content series, and live television will die, so will cinemas and Hollywood will wither and die if they do not adapt. Actors, models, authors, and all kinds of creative people will have to transition to another type of job to sustain income. Why should any publishing house at the moment undergo the hassle to engage in communications with an illustrator, agree to a fee, communicate with the author if they like the sketches for their book, keep deadlines with the illustrator, wait for the product, ask for changes to it, be semi satisfied, have to enter a new dialogue, then pay the illustrator sometimes more than they are worth - and this can take several months from start till they have the final product - if it goes smooth. Instead they can just open Midjourne and spent an hour with no hardship and next to no effort, problems and expenses. And before you tell me, that tis is wrong. I'm in the publishing business and my partner owns a publishing house. I'm very familiar with the business. The biggest problem I see whit AI is something else, that I hoped this video would address and sadly something I don't see any discussions about. People especially the majority of artist that have a living creating art are focusing their energy trying to stop or prevent AI from being used. This is futile.
