AI becomes the new slavery to some degree. People still need food & shelter. So if money or something of value is generated by the AI, it's going to have to be collected by some form of government & redistributed to the masses, which could & should extend beyond essentials as well. Will new class divides come up? Absolutely. There will still be those that create or build & work & there'll be those that are the definition of lazy who waste air (think Wall-e). Better hope digital systems smart enough to take care of us don't develop enough sentience to decide we're dead weight.
