Tesla has improved door safety features following accident-related concerns.

In every instance where vehicle data logs or event data recorders were analyzed, there was evidence of the driver fully depressing the accelerator, with no faults found in the accelerator pedal, motor control systems, or brakes.
These findings come from NHTSA's 2021 investigation (and similar conclusions in other cases), which found no evidence of vehicle defects causing true unintended acceleration.
