Something that I thought would come up in this video and I realized when I read the title: You can't really collaborate in AI art. Not really. Sure, two people can take turns typing prompts and laugh at what they come up with. But there's no marriage of voice and vision that comes from collaboration between, say, two musicians who admire each other's skill even if their styles are different. Or a musician and a filmmaker whose different crafts inspire new ideas. The AI artist sits alone, the only skill that can be honed is how to formulate their prompts to get a passable response in as few attempts as possible. Do they look up to each other? Could they? They couldn't even reproduce their own results as the same prompt yields different outcomes every time. They could all be replaced, and nobody would be able to tell the difference, even if someone noticed one less fry in a sea of slop
