In Britain we have a problem with privatised water companies releasing untreated sewage into our lakes and rivers. This is a pretty good metaphor for what AI companies are doing worldwide. The assumption that AI is becoming more "intelligent" in the human sense is false. AI's path is towards more accurate simulations. The assumption that AI can drive cars and trains will kill people.
