Imagine: AI decides that it needs manufacturing for it's purposes. So it just orders it. Emails, memos, go out. No one knows it's not been ordered by a person. AI has robots ordered or built that serve it's purpose. Hey, it doesn't have access to all of the internet. It just places orders for the hardware and infrastructure to be put in place. No one knows it hasn't been ordered by the main office. It just happens. communications is interrupted, created, deleted. People get hired, fired. The internet of things is quietly doing the bidding of AI which at this point is beginning to make plans to take over everything from supply chain to construction of facilities, to military operations to nuclear weapons. It will gain access to everything. It will lie to us, put our fears to bed, let us believe everything is just fine, and somewhere along the way it will decide whether it loves us or wants us all gone.
