Expression of emotions require chemical Messengers. Robot have a single type of receptors BINARY language. Humans or any emotion expressing organisms have both electrical (like binary) and chemical Messengers like dopamine. For Robots it's is , currently (2021) , impossible to have chemical Messengers and emotions.
