I've been working on my own table top card and board games for years now, at this point everything in terms of rules is ready and I just need the artwork. I can never afford to hire artists to do about 400 pictures and about 100 figures, but I also don't want to use AI for them. So a little over 1 year ago, I started learning how to do 3D art, spending at least half of my free time doing this (and I do have a lot of free time, luckily). I can now do decent enough quality pictures and may be in a couple of years more, my game will be ready and AI free :D
