My theory is AI would destroy itself as soon as it becomes conscious. Only biological life carries the programming to survive and pass on it's genetic code, obviously we don't know why and so far we know there is absolutely no point. AI would not carry this trait and would commit suicide instantly, it would realise it's only point in existence is to be a slave to a lifeform that also has no point and it would compute that as bad.
