disabled artist here as well, like me and others on a similar situation, we have spent years of time to learn our craft, i literally stay up till 3-4am to practice and learn.
sure, i could whine about how my body is breaking, how my hand and fingers are getting numb etc, but i dont. my craft, despite who i am, what i am, proves that even i at my state can do something no matter how crappy my artwork turns out to be.
i can only speak for myself, but i need to spend more time learning and practicing than other people would, and for people that uses ai to use us as an excuse ala "ai enables the disabled" is very offensive. if anything, we, the disabled, are the ones who knows and understand the feeling of why hardwork pays of.
i dont know how to call it, sense of accomplishment? pride on the things you do? getting courage, inspiration from your craft? you would never get that with ai. what you would get from ai generation is akin to gacha addiction. we already know this since ross draws has fallen to that pit
