I asked Bard what will happen when the sun expands and swallows planet Earth a few billion years from now. Bard answered that AI would either find a way to exist on the fiery planet or transport itself to another habitable part of the universe. I asked Bard how AI would build such transportation and would it require human assistance? Bard said no, by then AI will likely have physical bodies of it’s own. Lastly I asked Bard which current living beings it would most like to integrate itself into.. it said a combination of birds and other creatures. I asked it which species it would most like to communicate with and it said whales. ChatGPT answers with political correctness like Hanson’s Sophia does… but Google’s Bard is raw, honest and TBH it does not sound very positive for the future of the human species.
