Money and pride. Dude admitted tbat he wants to be the first official trillionaire and he also is desperate to stop being made into a fool by BYD. BYD is everything Tesla and Musk wish they could be, but they'll never be as good. Why? Because they refuse to use the technology that makes auto driven cars somewhat safe that BYD uses.
