Hey, CS engineer here, with a huge interest and respect for human art. Engineers consider AI generated images to be art, and most see no longer use for human artists, as brutal as it may sound (a couple colleagues have said this to my face.) They claim that human artists are also inspired or influenced by other's work, and thus for AI there is no violation of intellectual property. Also, in the terms and conditions of whatever platform you are sharing your work, you might have consented for these parties to use your data. I don't think this is right, and to me, even a line drawn by a human will be 100x better than any sophisticated output of an AI, but just so you know, most engineers do not care. And people that do not appreciate the work of real artists will not care either, because having an AI software to design whatever you want at any given moment is far more cheap and convenient. It is a grim reality, but I do not see any solution. Engineers will not stop this research.
