Giving somebody access to a manufacturing robot and teaching them how to use/program it to do all sorts of things, then testing them on manual welding, then saying the test scores are bad is and blaming that on the robot manufacture is nuts. There is value in what kids are learning with the new tools available to them. Test them on that to see if that knowledge is transferred to being able to create value for themselves and society
