1:45 Something else here to make note of is that weights in an AI model already effectively perform the same function that emotions do in human beings. That being probability collapse to enable selection bias. Probably a good idea to refer to it as something like proto-emotions. An LLM that didn't have something like proto-emotions wouldn't be able to end its responses and instead would just respond indefinitely until it ran out of context. We know that emotions serve this function in humans because when people get a lobotomy to dampen their emotions, they become unable to choose between things. Ending up in recursive loops.
